Terms of Use
Last updated: October 17, 2026
UniCalc is a free tool to help you work out and plan your grades. It is not an official source of academic results. Always confirm with your institution.
Using UniCalc
UniCalc Scholar is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Results are estimates
- Results are calculated from the courses, units and grades you enter. If your input is wrong, the output will be wrong.
- Universities differ in grading scales, rounding rules, how repeated courses count, and where class-of-degree cutoffs fall. UniCalc uses common 5.0 and 4.0 scales and cutoffs that may not match your institution's rules.
- The target planner shows what is mathematically needed under the numbers you give it. It is not a prediction or a promise.
- Your institution's official records always take priority over anything shown by UniCalc.
Transcripts and exports
PDFs and printouts made with UniCalc are unofficial personal summaries. They are not certified, signed or issued by any university, and must not be presented as official transcripts.

Your data stays on your device, as described in the Privacy page. You are responsible for keeping backups. We can't restore data that has been cleared or lost.

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn at any time. We may update these terms, and the date above will change when we do.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the people who build and run UniCalc are not liable for losses or decisions that result from using it, including lost data or reliance on a calculated result.
